Hey there! I'm Nat, the brains behind SmartStart Executive Business Partners!

In my journey as a Career EA, I've supported a diverse range of executives – from steering academic startups with modest budgets to propelling billion-dollar Fortune 100 product teams. But my heart has always belonged to Startups.

Come March 2023, like many, I found myself navigating the aftermath of tech layoffs, contemplating my next move. I was hesitant to jump back into the Big Tech life, but the recurring theme from Startups was clear: "We need your help desperately, but a full-time hire is beyond our budget."

A lightbulb moment hit me – there's a real pain point for growing executives caught in the gap of needing support but not affording a full-time hire. Surprisingly, a solution to this pain point was scarce.

Jobless and surrounded by executives juggling makeshift solutions, I pondered, "Can I fix this myself?!"

And so, SmartStart was born!
